This research produces a web-based government document management information system (SIMDOP) model in
Nisombalia village, Marusu District, Maros Regency. This study aims to analyze the management of government
documents and identify problems experienced in managing and storing village documents and to conduct needs analysis,
application design, document management development or archive storage in Nisombalia Village, Marusu District, Maros Regency. The method used in this research is program design research method. The stages of this research method began
with data collection followed by the development stage of the information system, namely by observing and identifying
problems, surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, then data analysis and design, program development,
implementation and system testing. The results of the research were in the form of a web-based prototype program, namely
as a technology to provide information on the management of government documents in the village of Nisombalia such as
documents or village apparatus archives, archives of statutory regulations on Population archives (Family Cards,
Certificate), archives of population movements. The output of this research is in the form of appropriate technology
(software) government document management information system (Simdop), manual guide for application use, and
journal/proceedings.
