The objectives of Entrepreneurship Development Program implementation at The State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang are
to create new entrepreneurship in science and technology, to improve business management skills for the industrial
community, and to acquire technical assistance and facilitate the students/alumni who are commencing certain business. The program is performed through several stages of activity, ranging from socialization, education and training in entrepreneurship, apprenticeship in established companies or in business units/small and medium-sized enterprises
(SMEs), business planning and guidance to improve entrepreneurship skills. The strategy to achieve the targeted competency of Entrepreneurship Development Program graduates is realized by providing entrepreneurship training with necessary materials such as management and business organization, implementation, supervision, and business evaluation,as well as business continuity development. The additional strategies are delivering technical assistance on business branding and marketing/advertising through an online system, and business expo activities.Annually, this program creates 5 (five) participants Entrepreneurship Development Program who can apply the entrepreneurial and leadership spirit so that they are capable of planning a small business/micro enterprise as well as managing a strong and independent small business/micro enterprise.
