Timbuseng village is known as a palm sugar producing area. This is supported by the considerable potential of
Gowa city forest which is overgrown by palm trees. One of the producers of brown sugar, Bollangi village, Pattallassang
sub district has a huge potential forest area of 15,5 ha of the total forest in Kab. Gowa where the area of palm trees is ± 300
ha. The community of Bollangi is currently mainly a partner group experiencing constraints in processing brown sugar
into palm sugar and the development of palm sugar products and sarabba instant. The method used is the implementation
approach of the solution that is applied in the form of extension activities, training, and demonstration technique of making
brown sugar of disposable batter (sugar recengan) and the innovation of processed palm sugar product in accordance with
SNI 01-3743-1995 so it is expected the brown sugar products and palm sugar has better selling value and can form new
entrepreneurial groups in previously uneconomically economically productive communities. This dedication program leads
Bori'sallo society to be economically independent and become one of the palm sugar development centers of sapas. is an
opportunity for poor and poorly educated people to process brown sugar as the main livelihood
