Abstract

Mr. Abdullah Daeng Ji’ji is the owner of a broiler farm with a capacity of 25,000 chickens. The farm is located in Sawagi,
Pattallassang Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. At harvest time, about 800 sacks of chicken manure are
produced. Chicken manure can be used as organic fertilizer. However, partners do not yet have the knowledge and skills
in utilizing chicken manure as organic fertilizer. The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the knowledge
and skills of partners in utilizing chicken manure in organic fertilizer. The methods of implementing Community Service
activities used to solve partner problems are counseling on the production and benefits of organic fertilizer from chicken
manure with a fermentation process, demonstration and training in making organic fertilizer from chicken manure with a
fermentation process, and provision of equipment and materials needed to partners for the making of organic fertilizers.
Based on the evaluation of the Community Service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that there is
an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in making organic fertilizer from chicken manure
