The intensity of information technology devices among children has increased rapidly. Lack of supervision and
protection when children are online makes then easily exposed to the adverse effects of the internet. Moreover, children
mostly access internet through their own mobile devices and at their home. Therefore, the role of parents in preventing
the negative effects of information technology is significant. This Community Partnership Program aims to improve
knowledge and technical skills of parents in using technology information devices so that they can manage and control
their children’s daily online activities. Thus this program contributes as an effort to prevent the negative impact of
information technology on children.
