Abstract

The aeration process serves to increase the oxygen level in the water and release the dissolved gas content in the water
which is usually done using a tool called an aerator. Aerators generally operate using a power source from PLN or fuel oil.
While the use of electrical energy and fuel is classified as not energy efficient. The new innovation is implemented using
a hybrid system of PLTS 300 Wp and PLN. The PLTS and PLN automatic switch settings are programmed using Arduino
to regulate if the battery voltage is below 24 Vdc, then the PLN power source will supply power to the driving motor. Tests
show that phovoltaic can produce an average of 370.54 Wh of energy every day. Therefore, the system can meet the energy
requirements of the aerator at an average rotation of the paddle wheel of 80 rpm, even though solar panels are dominant.
