Abstract

The construction of a prayer room has long been coveted by the local population, but the village budget is quite limited and the level of community income is still low, causing the development to not be implemented. Departing from this problem, community service activities were held through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), namely "Installation of Light Brick Walls for Mosque Buildings in Massoleang Village, Salenrang Village, Maros Regency". This PKM is an ongoing program for the same activities in the 2021 PNUP P3M program. This service activity focuses on the work of installing lightweight brick walls for mosque buildings. This work is one of the important parts of architectural work that functions as a wall and slightly supports the ringbalk of the building. The general output of the service program for the construction of the prayer room is expected to be able to increase faith and piet y and make this mosque a center for worshipand other social activities. Based on the results of measurements, design, and implementation, the volume of a lightweight brick wall is approximately 106.1 m3. This activity lasted for 8 months with a total budget of Rp. 7,100,000.
