The most profitable coconut industry today is copra production. The process of making copra is fairly simple,
that is, only the drying process is up to a certain moisture content and thus making alternative copra processing is mostly done by coconut farmers. In the process of making copra in addition to the drying process, the process of removing coconut fiber is the most time consuming activity. Manually stripping coconut fiber using crowbar or machete is one of the traditional methods that have a high risk of accidents. Injuries that occur in the hands or abdomen are risks that often occur in workers. This is because the method of stripping is done by swinging the coconut fruit which will be peeled on a crowbar that is stuck vertically and pulls the coconut fruit from the end of the crowbar. Thus it is expected that this machine can reduce the risk of accidents and increase husk removing productivity.
The output of this activity is the production of tools in the form of coconut husk peeler machines.
