Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop brick cutting machine using pneumatic actuators in order to improve the way to cut brick effectively. The machine developed in this study consist of an input stage, five cutting wires to cut the brick, a bottom plate, two actuator pneumatics to move the cutting wires and the plate, and a controller and instrumentation system. The mechanical system of the machine was design based on mechanic of material analysis and the controller system was design based on the need of the machine. Examinations of drivers and actuators revealed that he brick cutting machine worked effectively
