Abstract
Signal is a phenomenon that arises from a certain environment and can be expressed quantitatively. A digital signal processor is a small microprocessor programmed to perform desired operations on the input signal and can be hardware configured to perform certain operations on the input signal. This research is the development of a practicum module that uses the TMS320C6713 DSK (Digital Starter Kit) as an on-board simulator in a digital signal processing practicum to generate a signal (signal generator). The forms of signals that can be generated are square signals, sawtooth signals, and sine signals. The TMS320C6713 DSK uses a stereo codec of type AIC23 to interface the audio signal input and output. The codec samples analog signals on the microphone and converts them into digital data so that they can receive DSP. When the DSP has completed data processing, this codec also functions in the conversion of digital signals to analog output signals through headphones. This design module produces output signals in the form of square signals, triangle signals, and sine signals and produces an output in the form of a worksheet as a digital signal processing practicum module.
