Abstract

This study tried to resolve the problems of managing accreditation form documents in the aspect of document
collection. The result of this research showed that document management problems can be solved by using a
collaborative management system design based on Big Data-based online applications. This research was conducted in
the Department of Commercial Administration of the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic and concerned on the system
design without creating a new document management application. The data were taken from the results of interviews and
analysis of accreditation forms that had been documented during 2016. Google Drive as a storage medium and Google
Form as a medium of access were utilized in this research. These applications were considered as appropriate media to
save the documents and create collaborative data management as teaching staffs and administrative staffs in the
Department of Business Administration has familiarized with both these applications.
