Abstract

The use of wireless network devices is increasingly widespread and in demand by network users. Because the wireless network looks more practical and it doesn't require a lot of cables in the network. However, there are still few thing interact directly with IoT systems and devices. So the practical method need to IoT users related to the simple form of IoT devices and their implementation. In addition, it requires a network interface that connects the devices that will communicate. The biggest challenge in the configuration of IoT devices is how to arrange the IoT communication network itself. In this study, a basic architecture was designed that connects IoT devices using a wireless interface. This system is implemented using the Esp32 microcontroller which has been integrated with the Wi-Fi module at the sender and receiver, which is an IoT user with the MQTT protocol. The results showed that sending and receiving data could be done with the published and subscribed functions of the MQTT protocol using the same topic between the sender and the receiver.
