Abstract

The objectives to be achieved from the activities of IbM Panel Surya Perahu Fisherman Fishermen Group are to
increase the productivity of fisherman fish catches and improve the assembly skills, solar panel electrical installation
operation and maintenance system and understanding of the importance of occupational safety and health (K3) to
partners and introduce applied technology products in the form of solar panel system as a renewable energy source for
ship's illumination, navigation flagship lights and attractive fishing lights on fishing boats fishermen group Pancana
village, Barru regency. The objective is to increase the production of fish catches through solar panel technology as a
renewable energy source to reduce the operational costs of fishermen when fishing at sea in the fishing boat so as to
boost the income economy of partners and reduce the dependence of partners of energy sources of petroleum-fueled
kompensional thus partners and other communities able to increase its economic independence. The method applied to
the activities of IbM Panel Surya Perahu Fisherman whose implementation begins with a short training with practical
method of knowledge of electrical component component function of solar panels for fishing boats, skills in assembly
system and operation of electrical installation and maintenance system and safety training and occupational health (K3),
the training is focused on improving partner skills in operating the use of solar panels as boat lightings, navigation lights
and laments and so on with the skills and awareness of OHS, sustainability partners can support the operation of fishing
activities at sea to produce more fish catch and health and safety while working can be well maintained by partners. Ibm
products include solar power system (solar panel) solar panel with 12V / dc 50 Wp, MPPT 10A solar charger controller,
12V / 50 Ah battery, navigation lights and attractive lights, operate well to meet the needs of navigation and navigation
an attractive lamp on a partner fishing boat. Battery can charge well for 5 hours with solar radiation intensity of 700 to
120 W / m2, and has the ability of lighting during 12 hours operation
