Abstract

Thermoelectric generator temperature difference between the two sides to produce electricity. Research was
conducted evaluating thermoelectric generators using a glass dome. The results showed an average intensity of solar
radiation of 960W / m2
, throughout the day the air temperature in the glass dome increased higher than the ambient
temperature, while the temperature of the air inside glass domes vary on average 47oC, the effect of the use of glass
domes that are able to maintain air temperatures in the glass dome. Thermoelectric generator temperature on the hot side
varies depending on the intensity of solar radiation. Voltage 0.466 with a temperature difference of 8.9 oC. Difference in
temperature of 7.4 oC and output voltage of 0.368. Electrical power can be obtained by a significant temperature
difference on both sides of the thermoelectric generator, under conditions of intensity of solar radiation regarding the
glass dome
