Abstract

Synthesis of TiO2 Nanoparticles with Titanium isopropoxide precursor (C12H28O4Ti) has been done by exploiting the potential chemical content of ketapang leaf extract as bioreductor. Characterization of TiO2 nanoparticles using XRD resulted in a TiO2 compound in the form of anatase crystals with an average particle size of 8.5578 nm. Nanoparticles TiO2 is potential as an antimicrobial with 3 mm inhibit zone at 24 hours and 48 hours measurement.
