Abstract

This study aims to establish theconcentrationof ammonia (NH3) to water wells around Watershed Waste Disposal Factory in the village Bontocinde,Takalar Regency. Ammonia levels were determined by using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer using Nessler method. Samples used by 4 sample is a sample from water wells A,water wells B,water wells C and water wells D. The results showed that the concentration of ammonium ions in water wells A was 0.37 mg / l,water well B 0.57 mg / l,water wells C> 0.05, danwater wells D 0.78 mg/l.Ammonia ion concentration allowed is 0.5 mg / l. The results showed that the sample waterwells B, and D are inthe analysis do not meet the standards, while samples A and C meets the standards set by IndonesianGovernment Regulation No. 82 Year 2001 on Water Quality Management and Control of Environmental Pollution.
