Abstract

Clean water is a mandatory requirement of all living things. Sources of clean water can come from surface water and groundwater. In recent decades, groundwater has played an important role in providing clean water to communities in every area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the groundwater potential in an area based on the pumping test method and the geoelectric method. The locations that became the object of this research were 5 locations in Bone Regency spread over several sub-districts. This research was initiated by conducting surveys and field visits to obtain initial information on groundwater data in Bone Regency. Furthermore, the observation well points were searched using GPS and then resistivity survey was carried out to see the groundwater potential based on the resistivity value. From the results of this study, it is known that based on the results of pumping tests, the potential for shallow groundwater in Masago District is 0.13 liters per second while in Gona District is 0.27 liters per second. Then based on the results of geoelectric measurements, it was found
that there was groundwater in Masago Village, Gona Village, Corawalie Village, Pattiro Village, and Bengo Village at a
depth of 50 m, 80 m, 70 m, 80, and 90 m, respectively. There is no groundwater basin in Bone Regency based on the groundwater basin map but the potential for groundwater is still there but in limited quantities.
