Abstract

Abstract— The aim of this research is to evaluate the energy consumption of buildings under intelligent control system. There are two kinds of building was investigated, such us: building-1 with using an innovative Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) brick and building-2 with using traditional CLC brick. Under the Intelligent control system, the energy consumption of buildings was controlled based on the outside temperature. To achieve this goal, a simulation model under intelligent control system was developed to evaluate the minimum cost of air conditioning (AC) for both of buildings. Based on result of research indicated the energy consumption of building-1 and building-2 were IDR 24784 and IDR 29600, respectively. Consequently, the energy saving was IDR 4816 (16.27%).
